Saving you.
Nobody is coming to save you. You have to save yourself from drowning in the sea of your thoughts.
As for me, I think our minds are like water. There’s salty water; undrinkable, lifeless and fresh water, from which life originates. The same goes for our thoughts: some are negative, and some are positive.
Positive thoughts might be a good memory, a person who excites you, or a song that gives you a dopamine rush. These are the reasons to keep going. They’re like boats in the sea for your rescue. But how strong and reliable that boat is depends on you. If your positive memories are strong, the boat won’t break, even if it hits an iceberg.
But if there’s a crack in your boat i.e., doubt, hopelessness -it might sink, and that's when people lose the battle with life Still, even if you’re holding onto just a single log, if you believe in it, it might carry you to the shore.
That’s the power of good memories and positive thinking.
On the other hand, negative thoughts are the icebergs. The monsters in the sea? Your insecurities, depression, anxiety, heartbreak.
But here’s something to think about: If we never had negative thoughts, would we even value the positive ones? Would we appreciate the people guiding us to shore?
Maybe the dark parts exist to remind us how bright the light really is.

Your words paint a powerful picture of how much strength we really carry inside, even when it feels fragile. It’s a reminder that small thoughts can keep us afloat if we trust them. I’m glad you wrote this, it speaks to something many of us quietly wrestle with.
The idea of it is actually true , there is no light without dark in this world. So the more there is of darkness the more precious the light becomes .
