Wound.
Blood, scars, cuts, and what else comes to your mind when you hear the word wound? In my opinion, when something is left unhealed, it becomes a wound. Seeking healing is a cure, but before curing it, I want to ask: Do you want to cure that wound so beautiful, yet painful?
We re-live the moments in our mind, a non-existent yet beautiful and calm realm where chaos unfolds, hope arises, yet leaves you with the emptiness of never attaining it in reality. A wound left untreated harms you, visible or hidden deep in your heart, where it slowly poisons the soul.
Physical wounds can often be remedied with medication, but internal wounds are more elusive, they cannot be healed by medicine or any external intervention. People often say that time is the greatest healer, and while there is some truth to that, what happens when the echoes of past pain resurface years later, and you realize the pain still hits just as sharply?
The solution is not avoidance. Sit with it. Let yourself feel the burning pain, let your tears fall, and open your wounded heart. Embrace it. Comfort yourself. Through conscious acceptance, with time, and the thought of what happened was meant to happen, this is who you are; this is the beauty that defines you. Sometimes the pain you went through ignites the beauty in you that sparkles in your personality, the aura that you carry. So, when you accept these things, you begin the profound process of healing.
Through self-acceptance, patience, and embracing your true self, you nurture your soul and allow it to heal and shine once more.

Loved this read! healing is never real and healing isn’t about forgetting but more about accepting what happened and moving on :)
